More details: - The build only area (City) will be surrounded by a giant wall where you may mine and build - controlled by Towny - Outside the build area (Wilderness), you may create or join factions with full PvP survival mode (Yes, server will have Towny & Factions - sexy right?) - Moreover we will have a separate Creative world where players will have a different inventory and they may design and build sexy things. Players will have plots - areas where they may build. - Essentials Economy controls all of the buying and selling power on the server. You will be able buy & sell items, purchase plots for the build only area (City) and the Creative world. - There will be multiple tiers of donator perks. Watch out, we have a very privileged and special donator perk which will give you access to WorldEdit Server Will start with 50 Slots. looking forward to get back on to kill streak mine craft, you wont find me in the PvP much anymore its gonna be creative4lyfe for me from now on. Also i would like to make a suggestion concerning the factions, do NOT allow the OPs to be together on one faction, otherwise that one faction becomes so strong that it isn't even worth playing anymore. I find that adding the whole faction thing actually leads to discouraging new players from joining. Unless you have friends to join with you its impossible to survive on your own. However, I'm not gonna judge your decision but I just don't wanna see this server go the way of so many others and end up being a place where new people never join. That's how it is with me. I'm not going to say something just to make myself seem like i always agree with the administrators. What you see is what you get. Either way looking forward to playing with you guys again. Yes, you will be able to join Factions once the server is up. We will have a dedicated page on the forums for Factions!
Meh factions isn't really my thing. I just like playing and building with friends :3 That's why oftentimes I'll do group builds.
Although, if you do not plan to bother with factions please do not interfere with those who do wish to do so. It may seem like common sense and that this wouldn't be something worth saying, however, I have a feeling that only if this is mentioned that it will be able to be handled better. By interfering, I simply mean don't keep going from factions to non-factions but choose either one or the other but that does not limit you from switching entirely, it's mainly so that people don't keep flip-flopping on whether or not they want to do so or not purely out of the interest of both protecting their own property and goods and being able to loot others all the while or aiding those who do so.
